Community Participation Days

Community Participation Days are opportunities for gardeners and members of the wider community to come together to address the challenges of maintaining our seven acres. Tasks can be as varied as repairs of the irrigation system and turning compost to building gates and mending fences.

Projects begin between 9-9:30 a.m., followed by educational programming, presentations and workshops at 11:30, and free munchies at the Lansdowne Pub after noon.

Community Participation Days are great opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new ones, share knowledge, insights and experience. We encourage those interested in learning more about our community and those interested in gardening with us to participate in events and programming. And, hey, the coffee and doughnuts are on us!

Our six 2012 Community Participation Days are:

Sunday, April 22nd

Sunday, May 20th

Saturday, June 23rd

Sunday, August 26th

Saturday, September 22nd

Sunday, October 21st
